It's Movement in Fountain Valley. It's pretty big! I enjoy going there but I haven't been to too many gyms yet.

Where in Japan did you work? I was in Kumamoto but that was a few years before Covid. Do you think you'll go back for work?

I was staying in Kyoto a couple years before COVID. I'm currently applying for the digital nomad visa to go back to Japan so I'm hoping to go towards the end of the year. How did you like it in Kumamoto?

That sounds awesome! Bouldering seems like such an exciting and physically demanding activity. Do you have any favorite routes or bouldering spots you've discovered so far?

It definitely is! After the very first session you'll be sore for days haha. I've only done indoor bouldering gyms but my favorites so far are Movement and LA Boulders. I've been trying to challenge myself more to do routes I'm uncomfortable with.

Love Japan! How is it differ from living there vs. just visiting?

@KitaandNori'sMeowmy it's really different living there versus visiting! I feel like when people visit for vacay they mostly just see the main tourist spots and don't get to have time to see and experience the local places. an example would be like going to a small local izakaya where most customers know each other and just eat/drink and chat together. social media pushes and hypes up certain restaurants and spots to visit so they're always packed with long lines.
