Code of Conduct
At Around The Corner, we strive to create a safe and inclusive community for all members to connect and engage with one another.

Confidentiality and Privacy

Accountability
Take responsibility for your words and actions. If any concerns arise, send a report to report@aroundthecorner.today. ATC will address the issue promptly and appropriately.
No Self-Promotion
While ATC encourages sharing knowledge and experiences, refrain from excessive self-promotion, spamming, or advertising. The focus should be on meaningful connections and conversations.
Compliance with Laws and Guidelines
Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and community guidelines. Do not engage in any illegal activities or encourage others to do so.

Hey there! You seem pretty interesting. Do you have any favorite local stand-up comics? I saw Irene Tu recently, I've been following her for years. It's nice to see her perform at sold out shows!! She's really unique and funny.

@PixelatedOrchid Hey, I keep going to Don't Tell Comedy shows, and they consistently bring in good local comedians. I don't have a favorite yet, but Tony Zavala hosts the shows in South Bay, and I really like his comedy. I saw Bill Burr (my all-time favorite) live last year in San Jose, which was a bucket list thing for me! :) Thank you for recommending Irene Tu—excited to check out their videos!

Hi, it looks we have a lot of overlapping interests... I think our photos are even from the same place! What's the next trip you have planned for yourself? I just visited Portland, OR for the first time and it was incredible. The vegan food scene was amazing, and I just loved the lush greenery surrounding the city. I lost count of all the waterfalls I passed by when I was hiking around Multnomah Falls.

@TreeClimber I noticed that too—what an amazing coincidence! It really is one of the most beautiful redwoods I’ve seen. I’m heading to Sequoia end of May and I seriously can’t wait! I’m also planning to visit a city afterward, though I haven’t decided which one yet. The idea is just to fully immerse myself in new cultural and food experiences and Portland really does sound like a great option!
