Sarah
Welcome back to LA! As a fellow foodie, have you found any new or old favorite restaurants since coming back?

Thanks @Sarah! Some favorites I have discovered since coming back is antico nuovo in Koreatown, tonchin in weho (I’ve never went to the one in nyc), cha cha cha for rooftop vibes, and camel for coffee and pastries. What are some of your favorite eats?

For a minute I was wondering how I can keep an eye out for real estate where a gruesome death occurred in hopes of finding a steep discount on a decent property that would be within my means. You don't happen to know anything about that would you?

@Center4Ants I do not know anything about that, but there's a concept of Seller financing where you can work with someone who wants to get out of their mortgage where they locked in a 2% or 3% rate and you can assume their mortgage, there are deals out there and you can connect with wholesalers who will bring you off market deals!

Hi, I've also just relocated back to LA (as a native) after having worked on the east coast for many years and would like to meet new people and make friends. Will send a coffee invitation!

Let me know if you'd like to talk about real estate and traveling sometime, we can do it in español too. I'll be up for that.

@kneadingahand The part where you mention being a foodie and also rediscovering LA after living elsewhere is so relatable. How do you like it here compared to NYC? What is it about the future that you find uncertain and wanting more clarity?

@bravetoaster, I'm glad it was relatable for you. I grew up in LA so I'll have a soft spot for California, I like it better since I'm a beach/sun person. Also very into growing my veggies/herbs so fresh produce is a big thing, not to mention good Mexican food. For the future - I think I want to become a master or expert in one field, but I feel I have so many interests its so hard to drill down into a niche

@kneadingahand It's hard to be unbiased towards LA given how we're natives, especially when the Mexican food scene here is simply the best in the country. Not sure if you've been to Los Tacos No.1 in midtown but their carne asada and al pastor were the closest thing to LA street taco I was able to find in all of NYC. I'd love to hear more of your story over coffee and will send over a request :)

You got me at the first paragraph. I'm in my late 30s and going through similar challenges! A lot of your responses really resonated with me. I'm glad to know that I'm not alone in this.

@Pekkles and @kneadingahand, feeling a similar way as well, so definitely not alone.
