Where are you at in your life stage?
I blinked and here I am, mid/late thirties!
How's your life?
It’s a bit less social than I’d like. I moved here for grad school 3 years ago and have a couple really great friends but I definitely feel a bit lonely.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Diving at the aquarium and fostering animals from the humane society.
What is most important to you right now?
Being less consumed by work and more consumed by friendships.
Anything you recently found interesting?
The oldest ski artifact dates back to 6,000 BC.

Where are you at in your life stage?
I am enjoying my late forties and am finally comfortable in my skin. Most of my adult life was invested in my career, but I want to shift my focus to meaningful connections and community.
How's your life?
Great! I was part of the tech layoffs you've probably read about, and honestly, it was a blessing. I hated that job. I'm using this year to upskill and shift into something new.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I like taking my doggo for walks and working out. I also love to cook and meal prep, so I spend time researching recipes and tinkering.
What is most important to you right now?
Finding community. I'm an introvert, so making friends is doubly hard. I feel energized to put myself out there and to see what I'm missing.
Anything you recently found interesting?
Dogs aren't den animals, as it turns out, which raises questions about the validity of crate training. If your dog likes his crate, awesome! But if he doesn't, it's not because he lacks an instinct.

Being outside keeps me sane - hiking, biking, paddleboarding, walking my Great Dane. I've also enjoyed rediscovering reading for fun. To wind down, I love to cook while enjoying a glass of wine.

Where are you at in your life stage?
Trying to enjoy my youth before I need to start planning for kids. After the pandemic lock down, I feel like I lost a lot of time so the last few years has been a lot of trips, new experiences and hobbies.
How's your life?
I call it the boring middle but honestly I think I'm at the best place in my life right now. I enjoy my job and I have work life balance to be able to travel and have time to work out or meet up with friends after work so I can't really complain. I do think about aspirations sometimes of starting my own business or making a huge change like moving overseas but maybe it can still happen later?
What helps you keep your sanity?
My dog :D eating amazing food! Therapy , more self care,just started learning how to meditate. Learning how to appreciate the small things in life

Where are you at in your life stage?
27 years old, living with my girlfriend and cat. Moved to the US about 4 years ago, California about a year and have been working and learning a ton. I feel at peace but sometimes it gets lonely.
How's your life?
Pretty good. Lots of love and fun. There are so many new things to do and new people to meet, that keeps me going.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Playing guitar, rock climbing (bouldering), videogames, long Youtube videos, singing in the car.
What is most important to you right now?
Right now my girlfriend and our cat are the most important part of my life. They make my life better and encourage me to engage in new things. I got into plants to get my cat some catnip lol.

Not too dramatic. Very average. Work is hectic, trying to fill the days with fun things to do outside of that.
What helps you keep your sanity?
My pets who provide structure in my daily life and provide many funny situations, music and routines.
What is most important to you right now?
Enjoyment. Simply finding enjoyment in day to day life.

How Simon Reynolds manages to humanize John Lydon in his book Rip it Up and Start Again, when the guy is kind of a prick.

I'm in my early thirties looking to learn more about myself through dance, hand balance and friends/community.
How's your life?
Overall pretty good. I recently made some big changes that out me at a small transition period but excited for what's to come 😁.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Dancing, drinking tea, training handbalance, spending time with friends. My key has been Movement and genuine rest.
What is most important to you right now?
Self discovery. Thankfully thay journey intertwines with all my interest! So really just going deeper into.thw big three: loose leaf tea, hand balance, and dance.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I came across a book titled The Temple in the House about the intersection of architecture and spirituality. Not sure I agree with every idea they present but using architecture and home design as an extension of the soul as well as it's resting place has given me lots to ponder on. Have I built a home the reflects me and let's me rest in myself? What would a temple built to sanctify me include? Can that be in my home too?
