Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m a late 30’s professional. I’m helping to care for my mom and, of course, love up the family doggo! I’m not partnered at the moment, and don’t have kids.
How's your life?
It’s going pretty well! There are those “that’s just life” moments that happen to everyone from time to time, but I’m generally pretty happy, and try to be grateful, positive, and fun-loving.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Solo, I love gratitude journaling, walks, and listening to music. In community with others, I really enjoy socializing with friends, drinking tea (and hosting afternoon/high teas!), and I’m currently looking for another great laughter yoga group!
What is most important to you right now?
I’m focusing a lot of energy on my work. I just started a new job at a small nonprofit organization, so I’m trying to hit the ground running, and there’s a lot to do!
Anything you recently found interesting?
I love Elizabeth Smart’s book, “Where There’s Hope.” Elizabeth was abducted from her home and held captive for the better part of a year, I believe, before being rescued. Her first book details that experience, but in “Where There’a Hope,” she interviews other inspiring people, primarily women, who have found resilience in the face of extreme adversity.

Where are you at in your life stage?
I'm in my early thirties looking to learn more about myself through dance, hand balance and friends/community.
How's your life?
Overall pretty good. I recently made some big changes that out me at a small transition period but excited for what's to come 😁.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Dancing, drinking tea, training handbalance, spending time with friends. My key has been Movement and genuine rest.
What is most important to you right now?
Self discovery. Thankfully thay journey intertwines with all my interest! So really just going deeper into.thw big three: loose leaf tea, hand balance, and dance.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I came across a book titled The Temple in the House about the intersection of architecture and spirituality. Not sure I agree with every idea they present but using architecture and home design as an extension of the soul as well as it's resting place has given me lots to ponder on. Have I built a home the reflects me and let's me rest in myself? What would a temple built to sanctify me include? Can that be in my home too?

Where are you at in your life stage?
Trying to enjoy my youth before I need to start planning for kids. After the pandemic lock down, I feel like I lost a lot of time so the last few years has been a lot of trips, new experiences and hobbies.
How's your life?
I call it the boring middle but honestly I think I'm at the best place in my life right now. I enjoy my job and I have work life balance to be able to travel and have time to work out or meet up with friends after work so I can't really complain. I do think about aspirations sometimes of starting my own business or making a huge change like moving overseas but maybe it can still happen later?
What helps you keep your sanity?
My dog :D eating amazing food! Therapy , more self care, just started learning how to meditate. Learning how to appreciate the small things in life
What is most important to you right now?
My physical and mental health. Everything started getting sore and cracking after I turned 30 T.T
Anything you recently found interesting?
Recently started doing pottery and pickleball!

I adore pickleball, I also started a couple of months ago and have been playing weekly -- it's a blast and so accessible to all levels! :D

Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m settling down. I’ve moved around a lot in the last 10 years. Moving back to San Diego last year just felt right. By settling down, I mean I’m planting roots here in SD and don’t plan on moving away anytime soon. I’m single and just enjoying my life right now
How's your life?
It’s great! I’m generally happy and the healthiest I’ve ever been. My work challenges me enough to where it is still satisfying and I am able to make time to do the things that I love. I have a few close friends here in SD but realize that new connections wouldn’t be a bad thing.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I have a routine that helps keep my mood in check. It involves work, some form of physical activity (tennis, pickleball, volleyball) 5-6x a week, meal prep 1x a week, and small goals to check off along the way personally and professionally. Also my dog, he’s the one that told me to get a life.
What is most important to you right now?
Right now I’m prioritizing my health. Ive ditched the late night, party, going out scene for a more physically active, endorphin-inducing lifestyle. I have close friends out of town that I hang out with occasionally, but being back in San Diego has opened up doors for me to explore new hobbies and maybe new connections as well.
Anything you recently found interesting?
San Diego sure does rain a lot more than I remember…

The rain the last two years have been unusual! The timing of the rain this year so far, to coincidentally fall on the weekends, has been really odd as well. It’s a soothing change, but definitely makes me so appreciative of beautiful and sunny days.

Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m content, happy, learning gratitude, acceptance. I’ve learned to prioritize happiness, well I’m still learning.
I’m 42, I feel the same as I always have, just a little wiser.
Making connections is a little difficult for me due to my job. I do think shared experiences are more memorable so I’m hoping to meet some good people here for either intelligent conversation, outdoor activities, or both.
How's your life?
My life is good, I’m very fortunate. My work rotation is 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off. So I’m either gone, or in San Diego with lots of time. I work internationally and have for most of my career.
My younger brother and his family who I’m very close to are moving to Miami, so that’s a big change for me.
What helps you keep your sanity?
The gym, family, having a job that I enjoy, walks, plants, fostering dogs, surfing, snorkeling La Jolla, swimming to the sea caverns.
What is most important to you right now?
Mental and physical health. Being present, going to the beach. Enjoying my life.
Anything you recently found interesting?
3 Body Problem, thinking about the concepts and science in the show, and the Dark Forest hypothesis.

Where are you at in your life stage?
Rediscovery. Sliding into my mid-late thirties and feeling like I'm hitting my stride. I'm focusing more on who I am as a person and how to make that the best version. I've coasted on my twenties energy and now I'm in my chrysalis with my wings showing and ready to break out into a life of stability.
How's your life?
My life is a mix of working super hard offshore as an oceanographer in renewable energy, which allows me to travel and explore the world. When I'm home, you can find me walking to the surf break or on the trail with my german shepherd. I'm blessed to have the life I have now, but can appreciate the struggle it took to get here and the struggle that everyone else is going through.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Passion. Whether it be whatever project I'm working on. Surfing. Workout. Reading. The next adventure. Therapy. My pup.
What is most important to you right now?
I've been in SD for a little less than 2 years, but have been pretty wrapped up in work and am now trying to build community. Working on myself and adding stability to my life with grounded people with their heads in the cloud.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I've recently found challenging myself and my views interesting and exciting. Whether it be through getting back to being more of a yes person or pushing my boundaries in terms of being present and a whole person, instead of just cruising through life.

Settling. Moved here a few years ago but would like to make more friends. I'm trying to explore new hobbies, especially anything involving art.

What helps you keep your sanity?
Doing creative projects, listening to music, walking outside.
What is most important to you right now?
Connecting with others!
Anything you recently found interesting?
I recently moved closer to the downtown port and get startled when I hear the cruise ships sound their horns! Haha.
