Where are you at in your life stage?
I am married to my lovely wife. We have 3 kids, a 4 year old and 2 year old twins. Both of us work too much for too little money but we are settling into being a family and just trying to find friends to join in our journey through life.
How's your life?
It's mostly great. I like my job and am working to getting further in my career. My kids drive me crazy but I wouldn't change it for the world. My spouse is super supportive of my. We are working together to make healthier life choices for our bodies and our wallets.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I have started 3d resin printing and painting the models and it's so peaceful. I also listen to audio books (typically different nonfiction / fantasy genres). And I really enjoy doing yard work, growing something fun, and keeping it clean and tidy for our kids to play in
What is most important to you right now?
My family. While I love my quiet time I love spending all the time I can with my kids and wife. We work too much to not spend time together whenever we can. And I work as much as I dare to make sure they get what they need!
Anything you recently found interesting?
I just started 3d printing and even newer to painting. I never thought I would have any artistic ability but I am not half bad at the painting!

Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m a 20 y/o undergraduate student studying psychology in Los Angeles! I’m a SoCal native but I haven’t explored as much of LA as I’d like to—I’d like to change that and make a friend or two in the process!
How's your life?
Just trying to balance school, internships, and finding time to meet people from all walks of life :)
What helps you keep your sanity?
Creating (I illustrate/design sometimes!), reading (memoirs, fantasy, mystery), and watching every movie under the sun at any local LA theaters (favorites: Princess Mononoke, Tampopo, Ocean’s Eleven).
I also loveee walking and traveling around LA when I have the time and resources to do so (I tend go alone via my college transit pass lol).
What is most important to you right now?
Being secure in who I am! Whether that be through career development, helping my community, or making closer connections with my friends (and potential friends!)—I just want to put myself out there more often, especially as an infp :,)
Anything you recently found interesting?
Not sure what to say here…but you should stream this song (it’s one of my favorites! the character as well 🐈⬛): https://open.spotify.com/track/6VTnxajMD15WSIkbrtpw7e?si=qggEvJmoRNCc526KkNE76g

@grateful1 I plan to do communications for creative industries, with a focus on working directly with communities that need it most :) so I’m looking into working with nonprofits and public arts sectors!

Where are you at in your life stage?
Life stages are funny sometimes. For me, nothing seems to be going in order but that isn’t necessarily a negative. I am currently growing into a life I never imagined.
I often say, I have lived many lives and I am curious to see what else will unfold.
How's your life?
At every point in my existence, I have welcomed the heartbreak along with the happiness. My life is full and fully enjoyed. Risks and setbacks are opportunities to learn exactly how determined you are.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I embrace the fact that while I might not achieve what I set out to do, my impact on others can make a substantial difference in their life. Maintaining the perspective that value can be found in even the simplest interactions has always helped me keep a calm mindset.
What is most important to you right now?
Selflessness, empathy, and kindness are too rare in the world for my liking. It’s essential to me that I not only lead by example but also help others to see the value in adding these qualities into to their lives.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I am a sucker for a challenging and beautifully crafted puzzle. I enjoy everything from jigsaw puzzles to puzzle boxes… and, as you might have guessed, I also love escape rooms.
I recently found a company that has a room that can be played multiple times with various different outcomes. I am on a mission to find enough people to join me in exploring this multilevel escape room.

Sounds like a lot of things are happening in your life and it makes me curious about it as well! And I love what you said about value being found in the simplest interactions -- I find a lot of meaning in those types of interactions as well.

Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m at a stage where I want to be slow and relax at this fast paced world (late 20s). I like studying/working but I do not want to feel like I have to compete with others (peer pressure?) or feel like I have to put most of my time in it. I want to enjoy slowness while doing things.
How's your life?
My life is currently very interesting. I recently moved to the US and I find the life here extremely different from any other places I used to live at (Asia, then Europe). I feel like a small kid trying to explore and understand how things work here. (By the way, I felt the same when I moved from Asia to Europe). I am trying to take my time and observe everything around me with the hope of learning/experiencing something interesting every day.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Whenever I find myself getting stressed, I like to find a very calm spot that gets lots of sun (if during the day) and sit there for a moment. I close my eyes and try to understand my mind is trying to do. Most of the times, I find that there is actually nothing to worry about, and then I go on with my day.
What is most important to you right now?
I believe that every person has a very unique story that has never been lived and experienced the same way before. It is an amazing thought to realise. Currently, I am really interested in hearing people's stories and share mine with them. I like to see where we had similar experiences and our experiences are completely different. I want to understand your perspectives, and feelings about your story.
Anything you recently found interesting?
This maybe a little random, but one thing I learned recently that I am very fascinated about is that birds actually have regional dialects when they are chirping. Just like humans, birds of the same species can develop different “accents” or dialects depending on their region. Is it not crazy?

Where are you at in your life stage?
I'm 39 and getting divorced. I have a 4 year old. I have worked for the same company since 2002. I have lived in Temecula since 2011.
How's your life?
Considering the divorce and all I feel more at peace than I have in a long time. I'm excited to be where I'm at right now. I feel like I've been living my life wrong and I'm trying hard to fix that. I know my life could be better and that is what I'm striving for now.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Ok, a question I might actually be able to answer. I have always struggled with my sanity and I think I've found that just learning is the only way I can stay sane. I'm trying to learn Spanish, the piano, and trying to make my daughter a dress. It is surprising to me how much any task that I sit down and actually focus on clears my mind. Focusing is my struggle but once I do the peace I find after is amazing. Sanity is the reason I'm here writing this. I've realized that my social group and work group have become one and the same and I want to have a more varied friend group. I feel like I'm in a box and it's not good for me.
What is most important to you right now?
My daughter. I want to lead by example. I want to show her and myself that I am more than what I've been. This feels weird to say but I also want to know In my heart that it's possible for me to live a more social life and if that life is a myth I want to make it a reality. It's something I've never tried very hard at and I have spent so much time thinking about and never really knowing where to start. I have a couple really good friends and I feel like I only have those friends cause they put in the effort. I feel guilty about that.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I get wrapped up in things easily. Piano is my latest interest. I have never been much into the art world but I just picked a random topic to read on Khan Academy and the Dada art movement surprisingly fascinated me. I think it was the parallels of people through time and maybe I have misconceptions about art and artists. The thought makes my brain itch.

Where are you at in your life stage?
After living around the world for the past decade, I moved back home. I used to work in tech but was a victim of the massive tech layoffs so now I am back in school full-time. I attend PCC where I’m currently taking creative classes to get away from my data-driven right-side brain.
How's your life?
I have a really fulfilling life and am super grateful for all the experiences I’ve had but I do feel like the missing piece has been strong, meaningful friendships. I’ve moved around so much that I don’t have a strong sense of community. Now that I’m back in LA, I would like to build some stronger roots here.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Wine! I’m an aspiring sommelier so drinking and thinking about wine is pretty much my mediation.
What is most important to you right now?
Currently, school is my number one priority Monday through Thursday. Weekends are for family and friends!
Anything you recently found interesting?
I’m currently learning how to develop film and print photos and the entire process is so interesting. There are so many steps, factors and variables that go into creating the final image.

Hey there - I feel you on the life transitions, including the ones that are tied to both professional and personal change-ups.
I take photographs myself, and used to develop black and white film in my bath tub during my law school days. Those chemicals can be tricky, so hope you have access to a legit darkroom.
Will be sending you a coffee request - and maybe we can shoot some film together too.
