Where are you at in your life stage?
I am married to my lovely wife. We have 3 kids, a 4 year old and 2 year old twins. Both of us work too much for too little money but we are settling into being a family and just trying to find friends to join in our journey through life.
How's your life?
It's mostly great. I like my job and am working to getting further in my career. My kids drive me crazy but I wouldn't change it for the world. My spouse is super supportive of my. We are working together to make healthier life choices for our bodies and our wallets.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I have started 3d resin printing and painting the models and it's so peaceful. I also listen to audio books (typically different nonfiction / fantasy genres). And I really enjoy doing yard work, growing something fun, and keeping it clean and tidy for our kids to play in
What is most important to you right now?
My family. While I love my quiet time I love spending all the time I can with my kids and wife. We work too much to not spend time together whenever we can. And I work as much as I dare to make sure they get what they need!
Anything you recently found interesting?
I just started 3d printing and even newer to painting. I never thought I would have any artistic ability but I am not half bad at the painting!

Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m a 20 y/o undergraduate student studying psychology in Los Angeles! I’m a SoCal native but I haven’t explored as much of LA as I’d like to—I’d like to change that and make a friend or two in the process!
How's your life?
Just trying to balance school, internships, and finding time to meet people from all walks of life :)
What helps you keep your sanity?
Creating (I illustrate/design sometimes!), reading (memoirs, fantasy, mystery), and watching every movie under the sun at any local LA theaters (favorites: Princess Mononoke, Tampopo, Ocean’s Eleven).
I also loveee walking and traveling around LA when I have the time and resources to do so (I tend go alone via my college transit pass lol).
What is most important to you right now?
Being secure in who I am! Whether that be through career development, helping my community, or making closer connections with my friends (and potential friends!)—I just want to put myself out there more often, especially as an infp :,)
Anything you recently found interesting?
Not sure what to say here…but you should stream this song (it’s one of my favorites! the character as well 🐈⬛): https://open.spotify.com/track/6VTnxajMD15WSIkbrtpw7e?si=qggEvJmoRNCc526KkNE76g

Where are you at in your life stage?
30s, possibly in a mild existential crisis. lol
but also experiencing a reawakening of sorts! i am emerging from some dark lonely times & running towards the light. gonna have to make lots of large sweeping changes to my life during the next year. I'm excited & terrified. 😂
as everyone else's eternal cheerleader, i let myself fall to the wayside for too long. it's time for me to shine just a little bit. ☺️
How's your life?
every day is a new adventure! 🎉
growing up, i was told repeatedly that none of my passions & interests were valid career/life choices, so despite having a pretty good idea of who i am, i have felt lost & questioning my skills/talents for most of my adult life.
it constantly feel like I'm barely staying above water, & watching my friends with much better circumstances also struggle makes me question what it's all for.
that being said, overall, things are pretty okay.
I've done well for myself despite feeling like i haven't ACTUALLY accomplished anything of importance. yet.
i am probably equal parts optimist & pessimist. it reflects in my humor & fashion choices. 😂
What helps you keep your sanity?
music - always my number one! 💕 both the listening & the performing. i used to play a lot of instruments... used to be pretty good at a few. it's been a while but i really want to get back into it, maybe even start a band?
also love baking/cooking, singing, making random art, playing video games, travel, & taking a nice leisurely walk (or drive... but not during the rush hours lol)
i also like to read but these days it's mostly cookbooks or nutrition related. with some manga thrown in.
What is most important to you right now?
pouring myself completely into my recent creative & business endeavors. sometimes i put things off for too long bc I'm not feeling it... but you know how sometimes you hit that flow state & hours fly by & it doesn't even feel like work? that's addictive & i want more of it. 🤘
also trying my best to stick to my diet because i went absolutely HAM during the pandemic & my body didn't deserve that level of punishment lmao
* despite the diet, i DO still want to meet fellow foodies haha. if you love pastries, food shows, or exploring a wide range of snacks & cuisines... even with nothing else in common we will probably get along fine. lol
Anything you recently found interesting?
- the 4B movement in Korea
- there was a good documentary i watched about frank zappa, that was apparently directed by Bill from the Bill & Ted movies
- for my fellow android users: did you know bixby can beatbox? 🤣
- oh & MY CITY OF BIRTH RECENTLY CHANGED ITS NAME, I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT COULD HAPPEN? 🤷♀️
also i find a lot of what i read about hormones & nutrition interesting, but you probably won't, so I'll spare you those highlights. haha

So many things in here I relate to! What type of music did you play/sing? I used to write songs and sing and am slowly getting back into it...mostly indie, singer-songwriter confessional stuff.

Where are you at in your life stage?
In my mid 20s! moved to the US several years ago for school on the east coast, and then came to the Bay during the pandemic and just finished grad school.
I worked during school so it's been a bit of a culture shock to go from very little free time to loads of free time - I've been trying to spend lots more time with my friends, and meet new ones :)
How's your life?
Overall I feel lucky to be surrounded by a good support system of friends and family. I spend a good mix of time with others and by myself learning new hobbies (recently got in to pen plotting and trying to find people to take my art lol)
What helps you keep your sanity?
Learning new things is my biggest hobby! I spend lots of time baking and cooking for friends, but also get out a few times a week (with friends or solo trying out random things around the city). Library card is also doing wonders for mental health.
My destresser is going to a park with my hammock, a book, and a tea flask for an afternoon. I like to volunteer too and I really love how many opportunities we have around the bay - you can meet so many interesting people from all walks of life! Happy to share ideas
Also love music! (most genres but esp soul, r&b, hip hop, indie, electronic, jazz)
What is most important to you right now?
I live pretty far from my family so my biggest goal of late has been trying to support them as much as I can from afar. I also prioritize relationships with friends and being a good listener. Aside from that, health and staying active!
Anything you recently found interesting?
This is an awesome watch on the history of BART and made me appreciate it so much more - also oddly soothing?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-Jrp6it9Ss&ab_channel=VincentWoo
Not really a fun fact, but I've recently been spending time thinking about my overall life goals and personal values and talking to friends about theirs' too!

Where are you at in your life stage?
27, recently graduated, working on my career. I am a real estate agent, and I have other projects I am working on.
How's your life?
Pretty good, I work and try to get out as much as possible. I spend my time reading a lot, going to museums with my wife, going to bars with friends, watching movies, and trying new things.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Books (specifically history, economics, psychology, philosophy), good people, good whiskey, movies, travel, shows, music. I live for a good debate, I love trying to get to the bottom of different topics and ideas, and having mine challenged.
What is most important to you right now?
My wife, developing my career, meeting new people, exploring the city, making memories. I want to learn as much as I can from other people, and develop lifelong relationship.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I find new things interesting constantly. I recently got deep into Russian history, history of the Vietnam war, different psychological approaches to persuation, a few hot political topics, and in a very sharp turn from all previously mentioned, Japanese whiskey.

Congratulations on two years sober. That's something I'd love to do but haven't been able yet. Def get how isolating it is out here with no connections. And the drawing is impressive, I can't even draw a straight line

Where are you at in your life stage?
Early 30's, nomad. Adventuring from place to place, exploring more ways to experience love. Muay Thai, matcha, yoga, horses, ballet, and violin are major sources of joy for me. I'm finding my highest value is friendship, and believe there is no higher calling than to be there for someone who needs you.
How's your life?
Supernatural, quite frankly. I don't know a better way to describe it, than to say there is clearly some greater force at play here, whose hand is guiding my every step. Still, there are moments of fear and anxiety, but I'm finding the more I can surrender, the more that guiding force comes through.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Meditation, strength training, yoga, eating well, talking to my therapist, reaching out to my friends (I usually spend 5-10 hours per week on calls with friends), and also trusting myself when I know I need to slow down and do absolutely nothing, or have a panic attack lol. I like to say I roll out the red carpet for feelings I once would have deemed "unwelcome."
What is most important to you right now?
Connection, intuition, authenticity. Be who I am, wholeheartedly and unabashedly. Find beauty in things, and see the story that is my own life. Joseph Campbell's work greatly influenced me, and I can see the way my story is writing itself.
Anything you recently found interesting?
The neurological influences of decision making. We think we are logical, rational beings, but most of our decisions and behaviors are driven by the older, less developed sections of the brain. The subconscious, more primal aspects, the feeling parts, have a far greater impact than I ever thought.
