Where are you at in your life stage?
I am married to my lovely wife. We have 3 kids, a 4 year old and 2 year old twins. Both of us work too much for too little money but we are settling into being a family and just trying to find friends to join in our journey through life.
How's your life?
It's mostly great. I like my job and am working to getting further in my career. My kids drive me crazy but I wouldn't change it for the world. My spouse is super supportive of my. We are working together to make healthier life choices for our bodies and our wallets.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I have started 3d resin printing and painting the models and it's so peaceful. I also listen to audio books (typically different nonfiction / fantasy genres). And I really enjoy doing yard work, growing something fun, and keeping it clean and tidy for our kids to play in
What is most important to you right now?
My family. While I love my quiet time I love spending all the time I can with my kids and wife. We work too much to not spend time together whenever we can. And I work as much as I dare to make sure they get what they need!
Anything you recently found interesting?
I just started 3d printing and even newer to painting. I never thought I would have any artistic ability but I am not half bad at the painting!

Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m a 20 y/o undergraduate student studying psychology in Los Angeles! I’m a SoCal native but I haven’t explored as much of LA as I’d like to—I’d like to change that and make a friend or two in the process!
How's your life?
Just trying to balance school, internships, and finding time to meet people from all walks of life :)
What helps you keep your sanity?
Creating (I illustrate/design sometimes!), reading (memoirs, fantasy, mystery), and watching every movie under the sun at any local LA theaters (favorites: Princess Mononoke, Tampopo, Ocean’s Eleven).
I also loveee walking and traveling around LA when I have the time and resources to do so (I tend go alone via my college transit pass lol).
What is most important to you right now?
Being secure in who I am! Whether that be through career development, helping my community, or making closer connections with my friends (and potential friends!)—I just want to put myself out there more often, especially as an infp :,)
Anything you recently found interesting?
Not sure what to say here…but you should stream this song (it’s one of my favorites! the character as well 🐈⬛): https://open.spotify.com/track/6VTnxajMD15WSIkbrtpw7e?si=qggEvJmoRNCc526KkNE76g

Where are you at in your life stage?
I am approaching my mid-30s and in a transitional period of my life. After having worked on the east coast with little room for rest and space, I relocated back to LA and am taking a break from work/career/the "rat race" to explore more of my interests and travel extensively.
How's your life?
My life currently is relaxing and peaceful (and I'm really taking the time to appreciate the small things in life). I spend my time working on my mental and physical health and am interested in meeting new people, especially people who are like-minded and appreciate deeper connections and living in the present.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Having a really strong relationship with my family (both parents and sibling) helps me keep my sanity. They know me the best and have always been there for me unconditionally.
What is most important to you right now?
Right now, the most important thing is making sure I spend my time as I how see fit (taking ownership over my time, life, etc.).
Anything you recently found interesting?
I've been planning for extended travel and have come across stories/accounts/imagery of multiple places that struck me as beautiful and interesting (such as Positano in Italy).

Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m 26. I’ve found a humble career path as a bookseller. I do my best to stay creative. I like to make music, write, and this year I’ve been working on a small video game. I’m single and honestly more interested in collaborating than dating. This year I’ve helped friends make zines, make linocut prints, and I made ambient noise for a short horror film. I rent the biggest room in a busy punk house and I’ve earned the reputation among my roommates as the “tea rager” because I host awesome tea parties. I’m grateful for every opportunity that comes my way.
How's your life?
My life is pretty chill. I grew up in Southern California and I’ve been to almost every state. I walk and take metro everywhere. I cook at least one meal for myself every day, and my days off I cook more. I ditched the smart phone recently because I was on it too much. I made a website this year so I could maintain a web presence without social media. I’ve worked really hard to be where I am today.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Recently after a long day’s work I will come home and play video games. I’m facing burnout, so I’ve had a hard time finding the capacity to be creative after work. I’m told this is part of growing up. I write where I can, make music on my days off, read on the train, I don’t think I should feel as bad as I do about playing video games because I have a healthy relationship with them.
I find music to be spiritually fulfilling. Listening, playing, and especially performing makes me feel more human than ever. I feel pure consciousness and I feel mortal, like time is passing swiftly so I must work quickly to achieve my goals.
What is most important to you right now?
Beyond work, really just want to focus on my projects. I have a website I'm making where all my different projects meet.
I’m searching for a social internet that is not dependent on advertising algorithms.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I found this guy who makes digital typewriters in small batches. I think they are clever distraction-free writing tools.

I’m interested in what it means to be analog in the 2020s, because it can’t exactly be the opposite of “digital” anymore. I think it means being intentional about the way we interact with devices and with the internet. I think it’s valuing the space and time it takes to create something.

@proteasoup I'm really enjoying Hojicha recently, which is roasted green tea. It tastes kinda mealy, like oats. I usually enjoy it in the evening with a cookie or pastry.

Where are you at in your life stage?
I am in my late 20s and single. Currently in my last year of law school with a job lined up after graduation. Looking forward to starting my career after being a student for the majority of my adult life.
How's your life?
Objectively, my life is great! Yet, I feel like I am missing out on meaningful relationships. Having spent my life focused on personal goals, I never prioritized seeking out friendships and connections. Now that I am at this stage of my life where I am transitioning into my career and prioritizing myself, I feel the lack of meaningful relationships and would like to expand my circle.
What helps you keep your sanity?
My physical, mental, and emotional well-being are my number one priorities. Working out, whether that be in the gym, climbing mountains, or roller skating along the beach, is a must. Starting my day with some form of physical activity helps me get through rough days. I also enjoy spending time with my cats, listening to music, and journaling.
What is most important to you right now?
Besides finishing law school and passing the bar, building authentic connections with others who share similar interests, hobbies, desires, and/or goals.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I recently learned that adults only laugh about 17 times per day on average, whereas 4-year-olds laugh 300 times per day! That finding puts into perspective how little joy most adults have in their daily lives as we are all caught up in work and the other societal pressures we have.

Congratulations on two years sober. That's something I'd love to do but haven't been able yet. Def get how isolating it is out here with no connections. And the drawing is impressive, I can't even draw a straight line

Where are you at in your life stage?
I am a late 20's working professional trying to focus on meeting new people and living life!
How's your life?
It's good, but if I'm being honest it has been a bit lonely at times since I've moved out to LA. I work from home and have a pretty demanding schedule.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Working out frequently, running, meditating and playing the drums on a daily basis keeps me mentally sharp!
What is most important to you right now?
Making new friends right now. I'd love to have a large social circle as I'm a very outgoing person.
Anything you recently found interesting?
Honestly, UFOs. I think we're at a time where disclosure is coming.

How do I make the transition from (musically) battering on my steering wheel in traffic to playing a kit? I even use my left foot for the bass line.
