Where are you at in your life stage?
I am married to my lovely wife. We have 3 kids, a 4 year old and 2 year old twins. Both of us work too much for too little money but we are settling into being a family and just trying to find friends to join in our journey through life.
How's your life?
It's mostly great. I like my job and am working to getting further in my career. My kids drive me crazy but I wouldn't change it for the world. My spouse is super supportive of my. We are working together to make healthier life choices for our bodies and our wallets.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I have started 3d resin printing and painting the models and it's so peaceful. I also listen to audio books (typically different nonfiction / fantasy genres). And I really enjoy doing yard work, growing something fun, and keeping it clean and tidy for our kids to play in
What is most important to you right now?
My family. While I love my quiet time I love spending all the time I can with my kids and wife. We work too much to not spend time together whenever we can. And I work as much as I dare to make sure they get what they need!
Anything you recently found interesting?
I just started 3d printing and even newer to painting. I never thought I would have any artistic ability but I am not half bad at the painting!

Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m a 20 y/o undergraduate student studying psychology in Los Angeles! I’m a SoCal native but I haven’t explored as much of LA as I’d like to—I’d like to change that and make a friend or two in the process!
How's your life?
Just trying to balance school, internships, and finding time to meet people from all walks of life :)
What helps you keep your sanity?
Creating (I illustrate/design sometimes!), reading (memoirs, fantasy, mystery), and watching every movie under the sun at any local LA theaters (favorites: Princess Mononoke, Tampopo, Ocean’s Eleven).
I also loveee walking and traveling around LA when I have the time and resources to do so (I tend go alone via my college transit pass lol).
What is most important to you right now?
Being secure in who I am! Whether that be through career development, helping my community, or making closer connections with my friends (and potential friends!)—I just want to put myself out there more often, especially as an infp :,)
Anything you recently found interesting?
Not sure what to say here…but you should stream this song (it’s one of my favorites! the character as well 🐈⬛): https://open.spotify.com/track/6VTnxajMD15WSIkbrtpw7e?si=qggEvJmoRNCc526KkNE76g

Where are you at in your life stage?
Was laid off 1.5+ years ago and am now taking a sabbatical, but open to fulfilling / interesting work.
Have considered doing a startup but don't really want to be a solopreneur and it's hard to find the right co-founder too.
I'm lucky where I dont need to feel rushed about my next role in life but at the same time I'm searching for more connection and meaning in life.
How's your life?
It's pretty great for the most part. Feels like temporary retirement. Super active schedule, connecting with friends and making new friends. Being very social and self-expressive.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Activities and friends. I climb, swim, do yoga, and play tennis sometimes.
What is most important to you right now?
Meaningful connections / long term friendships - openness to new relationships. Self-growth.
Anything you recently found interesting?
The power of compassion and curiosity together. The power of mdma as a therapeutic device.

Where are you at in your life stage?
I feel like I'm at that sweet spot - financially stable enough to pretty much fly wherever I want (barring any diplomatically challenged destinations) or get into whatever newfangled hobby I decide to fixate on next, but still "young" and fortunate enough to have no life-altering responsibilities like major health issues, children, or parents in need of care. My social circle is pretty small (and could be bigger *ahem*) but while no one is really married yet, people are definitely getting close to being engaged.
How's your life?
I often find myself getting caught up putting out the everyday little dumpster fires, but standing back everything is objectively well. Sure, I might not care for my job at all, but I think I've come to terms that I value the stability it gives me over any sense of job fulfillment. I have a few close friends that I talk with often, and a group of physically close friends who are always down to go on adventures with. However, that group is starting to break apart slowly as people move away (in Los Angeles, that means they're moving more east or south... I'll miss them). I'd love to connect with more people and perhaps go on adventures and explore hobbies and restaurants with them.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I watch probably too much TV (but "good" TV! and a guilty pleasure reality show every once in a while. If a while is once a month. Maybe twice. Or once a week. Ok, I may go through bouts of heavy TV binging).
I also love doing stuff with my hands (crafting, art, music in an aspirational sense) and I try to stay active through yoga, climbing (though I'm definitely in a climbing slump right now, totally not because I've finally grown my nails out without picking at them and they just look so pretty with nail polish!), snowboarding, and squishing my dog. Oh, I love eating and going out too. Concerts as well. Did I cover all the common categories yet?
What is most important to you right now?
Health is my top priority, and second is developing and maintaining my relationships with others, though you could probably argue that the two are related if not part of the same thing.
Anything you recently found interesting?
If you watch enough instagram reels of something, you start to slowly embody whatever you consume. I like watching cute memes and some of my unconscious behaviors have slowly regressed in age because of it. I can not explain why I am now meowing like the meme cats but here we are.

Where are you at in your life stage?
After hitting some major milestones this past year, (getting married and enjoying the last of my 20’s) I feel like I’m transitioning to a new stage of life- one that I’m still settling into, where I hope to cultivate days that look calmer that are filled with more intentional activities and practices that bring me joy.
How's your life?
Happy but missing a sense of community that I’ve had in previous cities I’ve lived. Moving here during the pandemic all while working from home has presented me with little opportunities for meeting new people.
What helps you keep your sanity?
My husband and our three rescue cats are a source of constant joy. Finding time for exercise throughout the week, thrifting at vintage shops, and watching classic films are also quick ways for me to maintain my sanity. Time spent at the beach.
What is most important to you right now?
My family. Having meaningful relationships and breaking out of my comfort zone.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I tried indoor bouldering recently and loved it.

Where are you at in your life stage?
I just moved back to LA after being away for 10 years to complete undergrad and grad school. I have a great job but it is WFH which is great for flexibility but makes it hard to meet people! I'm looking to grow a community of friends to play games, pickup sports, go to music, have potlucks, etc.
How's your life?
I'm grateful to be back near family and have enough free time and flexibility to get out to explore the outdoors, go to concerts, etc. I also have two wonderful cats who are the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. Having just moved back I am looking for some like-minded friends to really build a community here again.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I am the kind of person who needs regular exercise to stay balanced. I love to hike, swim, go to the beach, play rec sports, etc. I also enjoy watching sports (mostly soccer and basketball), playing with my cats, puzzles (spelling bee, sudoku, crosswords), board games, live music, cooking, and baking. Typically, I like to have at least one skill or craft to work on for fun as well. Some past projects were to brew kombucha, perfect a pizza dough, learn to speed cube, and build and outdoor solar shower.
What is most important to you right now?
Right now I'm focused on growing a community of people here in LA. I am so happy to be back after many years away, but I am currently lacking a strong community of friends to hang out with.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I was recently hiking in New Mexico with a friend who works on a crew of conservation biologists in Santa Fe. He informed me that some rattle snakes without rattles have started appearing. The theory is that rattle snakes are evolving to have no rattles because hunters have been keen to kill them both out of fear and for their skin and rattles so those that don't have rattles are less obvious and therefore more likely to survive. I found this both interesting and scary, and began to wonder just how many other features animals had adopted or dropped due to human influence.

Ooh, I haven't really made it out that way but those both sound awesome. One of my faves is Beaudry Loop in Glendale. Kind of rough in the day time because of very little shade, but a really fun night hike and an amazing view up top. Catching flights into and out of the Burbank airport from way above is surreal.

Where are you at in your life stage?
27 years old illustrator working full-time remotely in Los Angeles with my partner. I'm pretty content with where I'm at in my life in terms of career (a simple job with work-life balance), relationships with friends and family (healthy six years relationship with my bf and we adopted a cat together a year ago, my mom is cancer free so we got to travel a lot and experience new things together recently), and health (I'm trying my best to be physically and mentally healthy haha). I'm trying my best to have fun with this adulting thing. I just want to be happy and content with a simple life.
How's your life?
My life is quite simple I would say. It's unique in its own way. I was in a bad car accident a year ago and it made me less worry about pointless things. I'm just thankful to be alive! So life is good. I was born and raised in Thailand until I was around twelve when I immigrated to the US and spent twelve years in the SF Bay Area with my family. Now I live in LA with my bf and my cat.
What helps you keep your sanity?
My morning routine (waking up in the morning and having time for myself), Food (I love grocery shopping and cooking), Books (I'm currently reading "Ametora" by W. David Marx about Japanese fashion and culture, and other books I have reading half way...) , Movies (some Eric Rohmer and Kore-eda slice of life films), Music (I love 88.1 Kjazz radio in the morning, Britpop on the weekend, some j-pop, k-pop, indie etc.), the smell of freshly grind coffee in the morning
What is most important to you right now?
Being present and getting know more people from all walks of life. Since I work remotely I find it hard to meet new people and make new friends, so I'm trying to be more proactive about it!
Anything you recently found interesting?
I'm currently learning Japanese! I used to take it back in high school for two years and again in college but life was so hectic back then so I didn't really have a chance to dedicate time it deserves. I used to work part time at a Japanese restaurant back in college and picked up some Japanese from that. I traveled to Japan twice and thought it would be awesome if I can become proficient at it next time I go (also more contents to consume, japanese movies/books etc.)
