Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m a 20 y/o undergraduate student studying psychology in Los Angeles! I’m a SoCal native but I haven’t explored as much of LA as I’d like to—I’d like to change that and make a friend or two in the process!
How's your life?
Just trying to balance school, internships, and finding time to meet people from all walks of life :)
What helps you keep your sanity?
Creating (I illustrate/design sometimes!), reading (memoirs, fantasy, mystery), and watching every movie under the sun at any local LA theaters (favorites: Princess Mononoke, Tampopo, Ocean’s Eleven).
I also loveee walking and traveling around LA when I have the time and resources to do so (I tend go alone via my college transit pass lol).
What is most important to you right now?
Being secure in who I am! Whether that be through career development, helping my community, or making closer connections with my friends (and potential friends!)—I just want to put myself out there more often, especially as an infp :,)
Anything you recently found interesting?

Where are you at in your life stage?
I am married to my lovely wife. We have 3 kids, a 4 year old and 2 year old twins. Both of us work too much for too little money but we are settling into being a family and just trying to find friends to join in our journey through life.
How's your life?
It's mostly great. I like my job and am working to getting further in my career. My kids drive me crazy but I wouldn't change it for the world. My spouse is super supportive of my. We are working together to make healthier life choices for our bodies and our wallets.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I have started 3d resin printing and painting the models and it's so peaceful. I also listen to audio books (typically different nonfiction / fantasy genres). And I really enjoy doing yard work, growing something fun, and keeping it clean and tidy for our kids to play in
What is most important to you right now?
My family. While I love my quiet time I love spending all the time I can with my kids and wife. We work too much to not spend time together whenever we can. And I work as much as I dare to make sure they get what they need!
Anything you recently found interesting?
I just started 3d printing and even newer to painting. I never thought I would have any artistic ability but I am not half bad at the painting!

Where are you at in your life stage?
32 M I’m graduating Environmental Science MS program soon, and looking to expand social circle with all this newfound time I am about to have. I’m constantly on the lookout for new skills or disciplines to learn and talk about.
How's your life?
Not where I would like to be in life as environmental is a tough field to break into, but am currently working on it. Rarely do I feel I get the opportunity to sit and enjoy what I am doing , as I have always tried to get to the next thing where life will be better.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Definitely photography. Being able to freeze a moment forever in time still seems like a superpower. So if you need a new professional headshot just let me know and I can hook you up after coffee.
What is most important to you right now?
Finding ways to love life instead of just living it. I want to prioritize implementing heathy habits to become the best version of myself without having to sacrifice my mental well-being.

It's fine but definitely missing something. Like people. I just moved here from Austin and it's a different world out here. I'm still adjusting to the culture and struggling to make connections so giving this a try
What helps you keep your sanity?
My dog. I've had a string of rough years and she's gotten me through it. No matter how bad it got I had to keep going so she would be okay
What is most important to you right now?
I came here for a fresh start. I don't know what that will look like but I need to figure out who I am and what I want
Anything you recently found interesting?
You can't do life alone, no matter how okay you think you are with it

Where are you at in your life stage?
In traditional terms, pretty set? I'm 37, married to a wonderful lady, doing well overall. Next boring logistical step is probably buying a house, haven't done that yet. My parents are proud of me and shit. I've traveled to 20+ countries. No notes.
How's your life?
Well on one hand my soul has been put through the blender last two years -- my mother in law was diagnosed with dementia, my brother was in the hospital, had 10 surgeries, almost died a couple of times. Learned what code blue means. I still dream of hospitals.
On the other hand I'm fucking killing it on the career front. I was born and raised in Turkey and wanted to be a filmmaker, and now... I am. I have some awards and stuff that feels weird to write down. Gonna have my first feature shot with actual movie stars attached.
So... weird, overall, haha?
What helps you keep your sanity?
I enjoy books, currently reading the latest Sally Rooney novel. I like playing DND and watching weird modern clown shops at Elysian Theater. Playing videogames like Outer Wilds or Witcher 3. Traveling, whenever I can swing it. Music -- anything from Kendrick Lamar to Burial to Opeth. OOoh, and eating. I spend a lot of money on food, not gonna lie. Recently got into the podcast How to Destroy Everything.
What is most important to you right now?
All my friends are having kids now (me and the wife are ambivalent at best) or moving eastward to Culver City which might as well be another country. So, while I feel set in the more fundational parts of life, I do feel a lack of social bonds/community. What's important to me right now is to nurture that.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I saw a one man show called Sorry for Your Loss by Michael Cruz Kayne that was so funny and moving. I also enjoyed Natalie Palamedes' WEER, just the sheer bravura and audacity.
I also read a sci-fi novel titled Memories of an Empire that was quite novel and fun, it stayed with me.

Top of my head, I really enjoyed Brugges. Great food. A quaint, peaceful place. Probably not worth to stay for more than two nights, it's a tiny little town, but it was foreign and magical. It's a page out of a story book.
Least favorite? Probably Denmark, Copenhagen. Way too much drinking to the point it colored my experience. I saw so many people throwing up out on the streets. It didn't feel like people were having fun either, too much depressed, ennuie-fueled drinking. I went to USC for graduate school so I'm not alien to alcohol fueled behavior but it was like the entire city was the frat row.
I'm sure that's a generalization and maybe I just got unlucky, but it soured my experience.

Where are you at in your life stage?
I'm established in my career and getting married this summer. I have hobbies I enjoy and a group of friends through my bookclub, but looking to meet people geographically close to my work in DTLA or my home in Highland Park.
How's your life?
I keep busy with work, hobbies, friendships, my relationship, and life admin. But overall, it's all good things to spend my time doing and I can't complain.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Daily movement, a good book, time in the garden or in nature
What is most important to you right now?
I'm in a bit of a transitional stage right now - I have a big work deadline, planning a wedding, and wrapping up an in-town move. I'm trying to find joy and relaxation to enjoy the moment while working towards my next phase, and taking that joy and relaxation with me into the next phase.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I recently read and watched The Idea of You and I think the differences between the book and the movie are really interesting. The changes mostly serve to make the main character more likable, but what I kind of liked about the book was how interesting it was to find myself rooting for someone who isn't very likable and is behaving objectionably. At the same time, it's nice to like the protagonist. In general, I don't think staying true to the original work is a high priority for adaptations - I think it's interesting when an adaptation makes different choices than the original work.

Where are you at in your life stage?
I am 31 and I'm in the stage of my life where I am exploring my more creative side. I've just finished my first photography and art class. I'm hoping to continue these hobbies and maybe add in some crocheting while I watch kdramas.
How's your life?
Its going lol i am doing my best to venture outside of my comfort zone and connect with people in person. I want to meet new people and see what stories they have.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Reading and learning new things, I really had a blast with my art and photography class it challenged me . It taught me the value of consistent effort makes progress and that's better than perfection. Also food, I live in East LA and am so grateful for the abundance of taco stands.
What is most important to you right now?
Connecting with people and as corny as it might sound, reconnecting with myself. I want to shake off the cozy comfort zone I have and get out of my boring routine. Plus my dog Venus, shes the best and I'd love to find some pet parents.
Anything you recently found interesting?
That learning a language is apparently not as hard as I thought it was...or at least that what most TEDTalks have mentioned. I'm still finding it difficult to memorize the Japanese alphabet. All help is welcomed.
