Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m a 20 y/o undergraduate student studying psychology in Los Angeles! I’m a SoCal native but I haven’t explored as much of LA as I’d like to—I’d like to change that and make a friend or two in the process!
How's your life?
Just trying to balance school, internships, and finding time to meet people from all walks of life :)
What helps you keep your sanity?
Creating (I illustrate/design sometimes!), reading (memoirs, fantasy, mystery), and watching every movie under the sun at any local LA theaters (favorites: Princess Mononoke, Tampopo, Ocean’s Eleven).
I also loveee walking and traveling around LA when I have the time and resources to do so (I tend go alone via my college transit pass lol).
What is most important to you right now?
Being secure in who I am! Whether that be through career development, helping my community, or making closer connections with my friends (and potential friends!)—I just want to put myself out there more often, especially as an infp :,)
Anything you recently found interesting?
Not sure what to say here…but you should stream this song (it’s one of my favorites! the character as well 🐈⬛): https://open.spotify.com/track/6VTnxajMD15WSIkbrtpw7e?si=qggEvJmoRNCc526KkNE76g

Where are you at in your life stage?
I am married to my lovely wife. We have 3 kids, a 4 year old and 2 year old twins. Both of us work too much for too little money but we are settling into being a family and just trying to find friends to join in our journey through life.
How's your life?
It's mostly great. I like my job and am working to getting further in my career. My kids drive me crazy but I wouldn't change it for the world. My spouse is super supportive of my. We are working together to make healthier life choices for our bodies and our wallets.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I have started 3d resin printing and painting the models and it's so peaceful. I also listen to audio books (typically different nonfiction / fantasy genres). And I really enjoy doing yard work, growing something fun, and keeping it clean and tidy for our kids to play in
What is most important to you right now?
My family. While I love my quiet time I love spending all the time I can with my kids and wife. We work too much to not spend time together whenever we can. And I work as much as I dare to make sure they get what they need!
Anything you recently found interesting?
I just started 3d printing and even newer to painting. I never thought I would have any artistic ability but I am not half bad at the painting!

Where are you at in your life stage?
Have a steady job. Working, no kids, but very little social life since COVID. Looking to make friends independent of my significant other. I’ve never had a ton of male friends, so that’s something I’m trying to get better at.
How's your life?
Mostly fine. Just need to make more friends so it doesn’t feel like I’m in a huge city by myself. I have a steady job and a steady relationship, I have a good relationship with my family but they live far away.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Music, video games, travel, art, card games and board games, cooking. I’ve spent time in my life learning how to make and engage in a variety of art. I try and find collaborative projects I can share those learning experiences with.
What is most important to you right now?
Finding community in my current city. Building lasting friendships motivated by common interests. I haven’t found a good way to tap into a friend group in the LA area and want to get a chance to meet more people I otherwise wouldn’t have been connected with.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I’ve been studying and learning a lot about artificial intelligence, especially ways it is being used in live art and performance pieces.

To skip a very long story with lots of side tangents - I am now a full time day trader who primarily scalps the S&P 500 with 0DTE options. I am not a crypto bro nor do I care to talk about finance/stocks.
I entered my twenties seeking experiences by working in emergency response, getting into blue collar jobs, and spending other year on new adventures.
When I hit 30 I shifted gears and that happened to be when covid shutdown started up. Life is not so adventurous nowadays but, I'm okay with mellowing out while I consider the future.
How's your life?
Nothing hurts and I'm in one piece so I'm pretty surprised about that.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I got a vasectomy and pledged that whatever life I take responsibility for will only be through adoption/rescue. If I had a child I don't know if I could be so calm.
What is most important to you right now?
Once my partner's job becomes a bit more predictable and settled down it would be finding a new place to live where the dog would be able to have a backyard to relax in.

In 1847 the Choctaw Tribe in Oklahoma raised money to send to Ireland during the Great Famine (while great amounts of food were still being exported out of Ireland to London.)
The Choctaw people had only recently been forced to migrate on the Trail of Tears in 1831-1833.
In 2020 the Irish sent $2 million euro in aid to Native Americans citing the generosity received in 1847.

Where are you at in your life stage?
Still trying to find where I belong and what I want to settle into. Recently got out of a year long relationship and feel lost. Just attempting to go out and try new things.
How's your life?
It's fine. I can't complain too much. I make enough to be comfortable and not too stressful. For the most part, I mistakenly compare myself to others and lose self esteem. I feel lonely and unsure what to devote time to.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I indulge in entertainment like sports, tv shows, and video games. I'm a big Alabama football fan and also tune into esports such as League of Legends. There's also many things to try in Los Angeles.
What is most important to you right now?
I'm currently trying different outings in hopes to foster new connections and life experiences. Perhaps I will eventually feel more confident in where I belong.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I've been into the recent uptrend of Pokemon cards. I bought a PSA 8 card of a base II set Alakazam and some modern box that I'll open with a friend later. I've also been opening the trading card app daily to open digital packs.

Where are you at in your life stage?
I'm in a transitional stage. I’m in my mid-forties. I was in a long term relationship of 15 years were we moved around a lot, within the U.S. and abroad. That lifestyle didn’t allow me to form deep connections or friendships. I moved back to my hometown last year. My old friendships were not here anymore, but I have reconnected with some familiar people. I work remotely and I love the flexibility it provides.
How's your life?
It's great, albeit last year was a year of starting over. I’ve been enjoying rediscovering myself and getting back to old hobbies, and discovering new hobbies.
I’ve focused on my inner self and getting back to enjoying the freedoms that come with this new beginning. I’ve been reading, staying physically active, meeting new people, and learning more. It has opened up a whole new world within me.
I'm enjoying my new life. Since I work remotely, I try working out of different locations. Cafes around the city, different States, and maybe a neighboring country or two.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Jogging, bicycle rides, playing basketball, reading, journaling, audiobooks, yoga, pilates. I dabbled in pottery, drawing, painting, natural dyes, and watchmaker classes. All these activities/hobbies help me keep my sanity.
I left the social media world last year, but had recently got back in it because I follow a few clubs. I need to follow their Instagram pages to know when and where the next event will be.
I've recently started playing a musical instrument. A southern Mexican string instrument called the Jarana. I took a class and loved it. I recently joined a group that practices and has lectures about the traditions, culture, and history of the instrument.
What is most important to you right now?
Family and my inner self. I missed seeing my nieces and nephews grow up while I was away. I also missed my mom, she's getting older :(. I want to be present with them as much as I can.
Meeting new people is also important. I miss that connection of friendship. I work from home so this desire to connect with others is strong.
Before I started to move around, I worked in large office buildings. I enjoyed that environment because I got to know almost all my colleagues and people from neighboring offices. I’m a shy introvert, but I really enjoy meeting new people.
Anything you recently found interesting?
The power of speaking in front of a crowd.
I attended my first open-mic last year. I was only there as an audience member to enjoy the speakers. I accidentally put my name on the sign-up sheet thinking it was a sign-in sheet to attend. My name was called and I had to go up the stage and explain what happened, the host didn’t accept my attempt to avoid that.
I didn’t have any poetry or stories to share, I simply explained what had occurred. The crowd laughed and then applauded. The power, warmth, and love I felt from that was strong.

@Pekkles It went great, it was a packed house. I don't know why there were so many people, it had the most attendance that I had seen. I think because we're further in the year? Not sure. But I see I get a bit less nervous the more I go. It's also comforting to know that it's a safe space to screw up. No one cares if you do, they are there to support if you do.

Where are you at in your life stage?
After hitting some major milestones this past year, (getting married and enjoying the last of my 20’s) I feel like I’m transitioning to a new stage of life- one that I’m still settling into, where I hope to cultivate days that look calmer that are filled with more intentional activities and practices that bring me joy.
How's your life?
Happy but missing a sense of community that I’ve had in previous cities I’ve lived. Moving here during the pandemic all while working from home has presented me with little opportunities for meeting new people.
What helps you keep your sanity?
My husband and our three rescue cats are a source of constant joy. Finding time for exercise throughout the week, thrifting at vintage shops, and watching classic films are also quick ways for me to maintain my sanity. Time spent at the beach.
What is most important to you right now?
My family. Having meaningful relationships and breaking out of my comfort zone.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I tried indoor bouldering recently and loved it.
