Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m a 20 y/o undergraduate student studying psychology in Los Angeles! I’m a SoCal native but I haven’t explored as much of LA as I’d like to—I’d like to change that and make a friend or two in the process!
How's your life?
Just trying to balance school, internships, and finding time to meet people from all walks of life :)
What helps you keep your sanity?
Creating (I illustrate/design sometimes!), reading (memoirs, fantasy, mystery), and watching every movie under the sun at any local LA theaters (favorites: Princess Mononoke, Tampopo, Ocean’s Eleven).
I also loveee walking and traveling around LA when I have the time and resources to do so (I tend go alone via my college transit pass lol).
What is most important to you right now?
Being secure in who I am! Whether that be through career development, helping my community, or making closer connections with my friends (and potential friends!)—I just want to put myself out there more often, especially as an infp :,)
Anything you recently found interesting?
Not sure what to say here…but you should stream this song (it’s one of my favorites! the character as well 🐈⬛): https://open.spotify.com/track/6VTnxajMD15WSIkbrtpw7e?si=qggEvJmoRNCc526KkNE76g

Where are you at in your life stage?
I am married to my lovely wife. We have 3 kids, a 4 year old and 2 year old twins. Both of us work too much for too little money but we are settling into being a family and just trying to find friends to join in our journey through life.
How's your life?
It's mostly great. I like my job and am working to getting further in my career. My kids drive me crazy but I wouldn't change it for the world. My spouse is super supportive of my. We are working together to make healthier life choices for our bodies and our wallets.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I have started 3d resin printing and painting the models and it's so peaceful. I also listen to audio books (typically different nonfiction / fantasy genres). And I really enjoy doing yard work, growing something fun, and keeping it clean and tidy for our kids to play in
What is most important to you right now?
My family. While I love my quiet time I love spending all the time I can with my kids and wife. We work too much to not spend time together whenever we can. And I work as much as I dare to make sure they get what they need!
Anything you recently found interesting?
I just started 3d printing and even newer to painting. I never thought I would have any artistic ability but I am not half bad at the painting!

Where are you at in your life stage?
I feel like I’m starting a new life and in the nascent stages of forming a cocoon so that I can turn into a butterfly. I just moved to LA for a job without knowing anyone here. I left all my friends and family behind in the midwest, but I was so happy to do so, as I am looking for new beginnings.
How's your life?
My life is good! I’ve been focusing on personal growth for 2024 and most of that includes self improvement of my mental and physical health. Looking forward I would like to grow and explore more of who I am, try different hobbies and meet new people to see what truly makes me happy.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I keep my sanity by talking to my most trusted friends, and exercising.
What is most important to you right now?
What is most important for me is to establish roots in LA and work on making it feel like home. I know it’s gonna be a long journey but I’m welcoming it with open arms.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I just learned about Internal Family Systems which is a specialization of therapy that believes your mind is made up of discrete subpersonalities. It’s been extremely helpful in my mental health journey.

Where are you at in your life stage?
I’ve been knocked on to a parallel life path. Not different, just more complicated than initially envisioned. I’m in an interminable in-between time, slowly working towards having a child with my wife, while surrounded by everyone who already does. Trying to stay positive and find ways to fill the time.
How's your life?
Quite nice, mostly. Work from home, time to exercise, a social life that feels almost there, six years after moving here. A comfortable routine. Looking for more connections and activity socially.
What helps you keep your sanity?
Cycling, running, Sunday activities (drums and chess), hanging out with my wife, reading, sometimes writing and photographing.
What is most important to you right now?
Making it through each day, using my time in a satisfying way, balancing the impulse to maximize my time and keeping realistic goals and expectations.
Anything you recently found interesting?
George Saunder’s “A Swim in a Pond in the Rain”. Interesting dissection of short story writing through analysis of Russian short stories.
Morgan Talty’s “Night of the Living Rez”. Stories by a Penobscot Indian from my home state, familiar and so different.

Where are you at in your life stage?
After hitting some major milestones this past year, (getting married and enjoying the last of my 20’s) I feel like I’m transitioning to a new stage of life- one that I’m still settling into, where I hope to cultivate days that look calmer that are filled with more intentional activities and practices that bring me joy.
How's your life?
Happy but missing a sense of community that I’ve had in previous cities I’ve lived. Moving here during the pandemic all while working from home has presented me with little opportunities for meeting new people.
What helps you keep your sanity?
My husband and our three rescue cats are a source of constant joy. Finding time for exercise throughout the week, thrifting at vintage shops, and watching classic films are also quick ways for me to maintain my sanity. Time spent at the beach.
What is most important to you right now?
My family. Having meaningful relationships and breaking out of my comfort zone.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I tried indoor bouldering recently and loved it.

Where are you at in your life stage?
I’m 23, and recently went through my first serious relationship breakup. I’m trying to regain my independence, get back into hobbies I left behind, reconnect with old friends, and make new friends.
How's your life?
After graduating college, I was lucky enough to find a full time job in an industry that I love, my “dream job”. I’m able to combine my technical skills with my passions. Now, my life is pretty stable. I still love what I do, but I realized that the job I idolized is no longer my ultimate “dream.” I don’t know if there even is such thing as dream job anymore…
What helps you keep your sanity?
I love traveling. I try to get out of the city as much as I can, even if it’s just for a weekend trip somewhere close by. I’m going to Vegas for the first time this coming weekend, and going to NYC next month. I also love gaming, so I’ve been playing more League & TFT with friends.
What is most important to you right now?
Making new friends, trying new hobbies, going to new places. I’m in a transitional period now so I’m very open minded to new experiences and breaking my routines.
Anything you recently found interesting?
Erm… I live just a few miles from the beach, but I never go! Recently, I finally went back and WOW it’s so beautiful. Why haven’t I taken advantage of this?!?

I totally get how you feel! I also recently ended a LTR and am trying to find myself again. Finding your "dream" job and then realizing that doesn't really exist really resonates with me as well, I am currently trying to figure out if I want to stay in my current career and am thinking about going to grad school. Would love to meet, sent you a request!

What industry do you work in? I definitely feel the same about what I’m doing sometimes :0 Also feel the beach thing. I’m within walking distance but have only been like 5 times in the 1.5 years I’ve lived here haha

Where are you at in your life stage?
I'm about to start my 30s and still feel lost in life. No real direction but also not really looking for anything either. I take life slowly and everything catches my attention.
How's your life?
I'm working full time in downtown LA while taking college courses part time to qualify for taking the CPA exam. My day to day is mainly work, studying when classes are back in session, sometimes hanging out with friends on weekday nights and being with my partner on weekends. It still feels like my social life is lacking, like I don't have many friends that I really click with or could imagines being friends with even in old age.
What helps you keep your sanity?
I read mostly manga and manhwa, ever since a friend got me started back in middle school. I try to read actual books but default to audiobooks because then I can multitask. Murder podcasts are also a fave: Morbid, Psychopedia, Buried bones. Some comedy podcasts as a palate cleanser: The Dollop, Sometimes Funny Always Awkward. I also love binging kdramas, shows, and some movies off Netflix.
What is most important to you right now?
My number one importance will be my cat. Next up, probably making more friends and finding a nice group. Maybe it was the whole COVID thing, but socializing just feels quieter now. Most of my friends now I've known since middle school, but not really any new friends with other shared interests.
Anything you recently found interesting?
I've never been great at makeup, more so because of lack of practice and the amount of time, money and effort it takes. I'm working on those skills now 😊
I've tried archery and Brazilian jiu jitsu before, and now I'm thinking of getting back into them. Just casual archery practice and looking for a suitable jiu jitsu place to join.

Any particular series you're currently reading or would recommend? Audiobooks are a fantastic way to consume books, especially when you're multitasking. Do you have a favorite audiobook or genre you enjoy most?
