Code of Conduct
At Around The Corner, we strive to create a safe and inclusive community for all members to connect and engage with one another.
To ensure a positive and respectful environment, we have established the following Code of Conduct:
Respect and Kindness
Treat every member with respect, kindness, and empathy. Our community is not intended for dating purposes. All interactions should remain respectful and appropriate for all members. Be mindful of your words and actions, and avoid any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior. ATC does not allow the sharing of explicit content. All interactions should remain respectful and appropriate for all members.
Inclusive Community
Embrace diversity and inclusivity. We value different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. Engage in discussions that foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all.
Confidentiality and Privacy
Respect the privacy of other members. Do not share personal information or any content shared within the community without explicit permission.
Constructive Communication
Foster open and constructive communication. Express your opinions and thoughts in a respectful manner, and be open to listening and understanding different viewpoints.
Accountability
Take responsibility for your words and actions. If any concerns arise, send a report to report@aroundthecorner.today. ATC will address the issue promptly and appropriately.
No Self-Promotion
While ATC encourages sharing knowledge and experiences, refrain from excessive self-promotion, spamming, or advertising. The focus should be on meaningful connections and conversations.
Compliance with Laws and Guidelines
Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and community guidelines. Do not engage in any illegal activities or encourage others to do so.
By participating in the Around The Corner community,
you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
Any violations may result in appropriate actions,
including warnings, temporary or permanent removal from the community,
depending on the severity of the infraction.
Tico Coffee Roasters, where Costa Rican heritage meets Bay Area Coffee Culture
Join us for a special open house at Tico Coffee Roasters, where authentic Costa Rican coffee tradition meets Bay Area coffee culture. Tico Coffee Roasters was founded by Mariana and Thomas in 2012.
Since then, Tico Coffee Roasters brings the warm "pura vida" spirit of Costa Rica to Campbell, California. The name "Tico" (and "Tica") comes from the affectionate term for Costa Ricans, reflecting Mariana's heritage and the company's deep connection to Costa Rica's rich coffee culture.
Open House: Saturday, November 30
On Saturday 11/30, Tico Coffee Roasters will open their space for our neighborhoods to share their love of coffee and get a chance to say hello to each other.
Tico Coffee Roasters has its unique setup in Campbell. They have a small coffee cart in front of their coffee roasting room and warehouse, known as a local hidden gem to coffee enthusiasts and wholesale partners. Take this unique opportunity to step into Tico Coffee Roasters and say hello to fellow ATC members!

• If you are unable to attend, please update your RSVP so that someone on the waitlist can join us. • Consider skipping your homemade morning coffee of the day before you come! • Check in on time at 11:00 AM so that all of us get a chance to say hello each other before coffee time. It's going to be a relaxed casual time to learn our coffee roaster neighbor and meet fellow ATC members.
